A long time ago in a galaxy far far away -- a longer time that I care to admit -- I had a dream to be a comic book artist. But for various reasons I went into graphic design instead, thinking that I could always draw in my spare time. Of course at the time, as with many 17 year olds, little did I know that adulthood does not always leave much in the way of spare time.
So roll on a few years and the realisation that life's too short not to follow your calling -- or at least try -- and here I am.
I read somewhere recently that to be a good comic book artist, you need to first make 1000 pages.
Well, I'll start with drawings for now... Build up as I go. And hopefully in 1000 drawings from now I'll see some improvement.
